Even if they do, on most cars. 2 bolts to remove the caliper bracket and the rotor will fall off. In the old days they had pita retention bolts that required an impact screwdriver to remove. Most nowadays just use the lugs

A universal caliper piston reset tool is $36. I just did all four brakes, oil change, tire rotation and changed the front wheel hub for $600 on an f-150. Also had to correct and issue with the 4wd.

This is 100% not true. All rotors have a minimum safe thickness and you also neglected the possibility of them being warped which often goes along with thin (low mass) rotors.
