The main reason I want a sling is where I can be hands free while at the range checking on my target. Obviously I don't want to leave it on the table.

Please don't walk down range with a rifle, please, please just don't do it.

I have left machine guns worth tens of thousands of dollars that were easily taken...actually several of them... on the table at the range while changing targets. Nobody has ever even tried to approach them. If you are at a gun range where you are worried about theft... you need a new range.

Two point slings are the way to go, I keep a bunch of USGI slings on hand just to have an easy to use, reliable, consistent sling on all my weapons, well the AK's get two point Bulgarian AK slings, I just happen to have a metric shite ton of them. Simple really is better, the sling is more about getting a good hold than carrying for me though.

I don't like hanging a bunch of stuff on a rifle, but those angled foregrips can help build muscle memory.

I like them but I feel like the one I have slips in my grip. It’s a magpul polymer.

I like the vertical grips as a hand stop
