re: kitchen high end appliances really suck

For appliances especially ones that spin and shake like dishwashers and washers and dryers why on Earth would you want anything except hardcore mechanical parts? The idea of tiny solder joints and circuit boards that get shaked the frick up daily..by definition..is the dumbest thing ever.

You don't need wifi on a washing machine.


Mechanical Age > Technological Age.
