It’s past time for WM to start removing most of the bleachers surrounding that field. Dead program.

quote:well - 3a selects had to do this from 2013 till 2021. actually getting open enrollments and charters in select was a good move. Iota and CP both both for this format.
Iota on to Cecilia. 3A vs 4A Bulldogs. Great job, LHSAA, you corrupt fricks.

its so easy to tell who got their arse kicked by Catholic at some point. Really fresh take. At some point, you are going to need to stop crying and put your big girl panties on,
Beat Catholic back in the day, but that’s before they started recruiting and giving scholarships to kids to boost their athletic programs.

It looks like the Livingston Parish and Ascension Parish schools are starting to develop good football programs with good coaching.
Walker, Denham, EA, Dutchtown and St Amant all have enrollments over 2,000 and Live Oak has around 1,400; Dutchtown has over 2,600.
We will see how Prairieville HS hurts the three Ascension Parish schools in the near future.

I’ve watched both teams play multiple games and you are correct. Dutchtown is good and I think they roll the Owls. I’m assuming Chalmette is traveling to Dutchtown, is that correct?
Meh Dutchtown barely beat Ponchatoula
At least West Monroe is out
Believe it or not this is Chalmette‘a first ever game against anyone in Ascension Parish, just like believe it or not last night was our first ever game against Ponchatoula… a bunch of teams we should have been playing in the regular season

Ponchatoula had a ridiculously talented QB; running all over teams this year. He was 100% of their team and carried them.

Probably peeling some off from each of the other three AP schools.
Dutchtown currently at 2,600, St Amant at 2,400 and EA around 2,100.

Could get interesting. I remember after Katrina they created south plaq… they ended up really good.

second game of the season before the star QB went down.
Dutchtown almost went undefeated with an infinitely tougher schedule than Chalmette. Only loss was to Walker by one point.
I mean you can say meh all you want but Chalmette will be a double digit underdog.

refs just had an awful call on a Chalmette QB sneak with one second left in the half. ball was clearly in the endzone. chalmette coaches went berserk. thought a ref was going to get body slammed
Talking w people that were near goal line - not so fast…

Nobody should be in front of the pylon, while ball is live.

I meant the pylon in front of them, sorry I'm sexlexic.

I will say this from my game and many others it was obvious players hadn’t had any rainy games this year.
And the number of crazy plays was well crazy.
Obscure rules coming into play
goal line view is key on that play C vs P, only way you can see where ball is when knee hits ground end zone and press box view not ideal.

I know it may be a little early for this to have been set but does anyone know of any Thursday games in south Louisiana for this upcoming week?
