This is the same as the baseball sign stealing. Everybody does it. Michigan and Astros took it to another level but its all the same

It is not the same.

When you have an entire system and database invested into your opponents games recording their movements and actions to decrypt their calls professionally.... then you rely so much on this system the guy who runs it works directly with your coordinators and head coach during the games??

That is a crazily significant advantage and should be dealt with harshly.

Why is it wrong?

I guess I haven't really delved into this topic of sign stealing in CFB yet. But if there is a camera angle on the signs coming in from Team A's sideline for an entire game and I figure out what plays they are calling, why should this not be ok? Is that was is essentially going on? And computer nerds have gotten involved to place it all in a database and analyze it?

If that is wrong then why is it legal to watch any game film?

You must only follow small-time high school football to come back with such a naive retort like that, in addition to not knowing the rule book
