I keep hearing about “piped” in music. Music is music, who gives a frick how it gets to you.
So when the band is not playing, which is a hell of a lot, who doesn’t want music when you’re basically in a party / festival atmosphere.
Do y’all complain about the Mardi Gras floats that play their own music on the float as well?

This is also what’s confusing about people still complaining. We hear all the time how the LSU band has been completely replaced by piped in music.
They still play after every snap of the game.
