LSUs lack of a recruiting budget is a problem. Should we consider being purchased by UTJr.

We are being lapped by our competitors. We should honestly consider being purchased by Tennessee. It wood create tremendous value for the shareholders
We wood see immediate improvement on defense. We just need enough defense to win games. We could achieve an immediate economy of scale with the merger - acquisition. Tennessee apparently has the money & NIL collective to thrive in today’s college football. LSU has everything else except we are as poor as a church mouse.
Guys I can’t sit through and watch these games with other gents and show them the product we are shitting out on defense. We have big league brand confusion casual football fans cum to warsh LSU even they expect tough and talented dudes on defense that looked like we raided Angola for players. We are butter soft on defense you could cut through this thing with a butter knife. Butter soft. We have lost our mental edge and our brand and reputation has taken a huge hit because of this historically bad defense.
Baws we aren’t even in the top 20 in recruiting spending for the 2022 year according to Sports Illustrated. A few other schools of note in the top 20. Let’s see who is more serious about buying players than LSU. You will love this.
Rutgers
Warshinton
Maryland
Georgia Tech
All our immediate competitors are better than us. The only folks that are on our level are the Mississippi schools. We spent a few hundred thousand dollars total on our budget we aren’t in the same zip code. That’s the new era of professionalized college football. You can not win without the spend.
Tennessee A&M and Texas operate the largest NIL collectives in America. Lord knows Georgia has an unlimited budget. They are number one in spending for 2022.
LSU isn’t operating with the same financial resources as our competitors and it’s time we have that honest conversation about the future of LSU football because we are eroding our brand into a brand that’s soft and apathetic on defense and it’s absolutely sad to watch.

Lots of truth in what you’re saying
We aren’t putting the money behind footyball that we should be
LSU should end sports programs for women and put all that money behind football

We are losing in recruiting especially on the defensive side of the ball

The women should have to pay extra to play sports

NIL is going to send LSU football back to Dinardo era results I’m afraid. We are about to relive the 90’s this decade.

Need to rip the band aid and fire that fraud CBK before the progrum gets past the point of no return. Where it takes a decade to rebuild and not just a year

Obviously still mad because Kim Mulkey shoved your “nobody cares about WBB” schtick straight down your dick sucker.

I knew the future was bleak when I saw how excited some cucks in here got for the women’s bball natty. Ok cool we won a game of hopscotch on the playground. Hopscotch playground champions. It’s just a distraction from LSUS football. Taking time and money away. In a lot of ways these three losses this season are because of Kim Mulky. Need to fire her and get someone worse

Lots of truth? How about the elephant in the womb?
It’s more than just some truth it’s the whole truth and nothing but the truth. There is too much data out there that suggests LSU is far behind in this space. We have rich athletes at the same time but let’s not be foolish in conflating that with the donors and alumni creating a massive budget and creating a collective that competes with the dominant brands in football. We haven’t done that we haven’t even created things where we compete with Georgia Tech Maryland and Rutgers.
