BK started from scratch when he was hired. A complete overhaul. Barely enough players to field a team. What did he do....won the SEC west. (Pretty impressive) Second year he has the best offense in the country. He is on the right track in making LSU a top contender if he can make some defensive adjustment after the season is over. And he will...book it.

That is a nice spin. We'll see how things are if year three is worse still.

Are we still going to be blaming Ed next year?

We give him leeway for that, however he whiffed on defensive/special team hires. That’s wholly unacceptable as a veteran coach with 300 wins.

He needs to make a change at DC and we’ll be fine.

House has to go. Kelly needs to bring in another dc. I don’t think he will cause he thinks the talent is lacking. House will be Kelly’s down fall.

Watching CBK chew out Guillory for being on the sidelines playing with his helmet while Alabama is lined up to go for it on 4th down was really frustrating. I don't think he's used to dealing with the lack of intelligence compared to the players he had at ND. Made us waste a TO for nothing. Those little things need to be fixed by now

oh please. He actually inherited quite a bit of talent, especially at WR. And LSU has only gotten worse on defense.

IIRC, Heupel was in a very similar position at Tennessee in terms of the number of scholarship players carried over from the prior coaching staff. With NIL and the portal, I think expectations on rebuilds, esp. at top schools, are vastly different than they were 5 or 10 yrs ago.

Are you serious? Offense is good to go. We need depth and somebody that knows defense.

No... probably 100% of the people on here have more info than me. I do know BK can see the stats like we can.

You're wasting your time with this place. It wasn't good enough year one winning the West, with barely any players to start the season. Not good enough having the best offense in the country (see posts after anything other than a TD last night). Kelly is 2 years into a complete rebuild (beat Bama and won the west YEAR ONE) and people want him fired LMAO. It's hilarious and pathetic all at the same time.

You're delusional if you truly believe this. Colorado was a complete rebuild, not LSU.

No they don’t. We just want him to take accountability and fixed the defense. Hire competent coach and coach his players better.

Defense was fine last year. That’s what really has me perplexed.

It’s more than just coaching, but the lack of adjustments in game and throughout the year has been a massive disappointment.

Some say fire House now. I don’t necessarily know that creating more chaos during the season is best, but what do you have to lose at this point? Defense only has a little room to regress further.
