For this scenario, assume Bama, LSU, and OP end up 7-1 and in a threeway tie. In that case, it looks like rule 2F would decide it. If UGA wins the SECE, OMiss would win the tiebreaker. If Mizzou wins the SECE, LSU would win the tiebreaker. Tennessee would have to win the SECE for Bama to win that tiebreaker.

That’s incorrect. LSU would win. Mizzou and UF have better records than UGA and Vandy.

2F states it is common opponents going down the list. The 3 teams don't play a single common East opponent, all 6 games vs east opponents are unique for them.
