That was not the big issue. Moss clearly went out of bounds just a couple of seconds before the catch. Ref ruled he was forced out and properly reestablished himself before the catch.
The jewel on this play was the fan reaction in the stadium. BDS played the replay over and over on the big screens showing Moss stepping out. The Ref came on and announced the call of a catch was "Confirmed" rather than stands indicating that they ruled that replay proved the call rather than just saying inconclusive. The fans around me were so mad that they hollered every profanity known to man at the refs.
