The best teams were eliminated. Two barely popular teams played. For the past few decades, the future viewers weren't old enough to stay up and watch - declining viewership not surprising. Expansion has diluted the product on the field. I love baseball, but even I can't get interested in it this year. MLB, do better.

I remember as a kid in elementary school, teachers would bring in a TV to watch the World Series.
Dodgers, Tigers, Cardinals. Afternoon games.
I remember working first year out of college the Red Sox and Yankees afternoon game. I think it was 1978.
Anyway, MLB get back to it so kids can watch. Like I did.
