Yea that doesn’t make sense. If he was recruiting well but they wanted to go a different direction they’d do it after signing day

A more likely scenario is that Steeples can see the writing on the wall and that he has either not pressed to keep his recruits or has that he has advised them that he has doubts he will continue to be around.
Most on this board would be surprised to see Steeples keep his job. I suspect he is keeping track better than we are...
