Bootgate: Photos Where RDS isn't in Cowboy Boots.

RDS might be 5'8-5'9 if he's resorting to this. These aren't subtle. His up on 3-4'' at least. I don't think he's pushing 5'', but his tibia is definitely 3''-4 longer on all photos than it should be.

No, it's not just some random workboot. Again the laces area is suspiciously tight and elevated like it is in elevator shoes.

The sole is a red flag. It's not a typical workboot sole, this baby is at least 1 and 3/4'' on its own with 1'' on the front to alleviate slope. 1'' padding on the front and you throw up red flags for heighting. Vin Diesel has been mocked for it forever. Guy sleeps in boots.
Then you go to the lace area and you see the situation there- is it's tight, is it looking like it's lifted a bit too much. Even with jeans covering it we can see it's elevated. And lastly the issue with elevator shoes is that it makes you look like you have a world's longest tibia. It throws your proportions way off if you're short and running a 3''+ heel.
Dudes who get away with heightening and fly under the radar if they're stacking they stay under 2.5'' total. Custom elevator shoes compromise between thick sole vs lift inside. Looks like Ron went with sole and stack inside. It's very glaring.

I agree, it's a silly issue, but it's an issue he made blatantly obvious by not owning his height and making terrible fashion elevator shoe choices. There's a way to get away with it subtly, but you can't go over 2'' and stay under suspicion.
Problem here is lying about height and making yourself look like a fool and walk like a fool to perpetuate the lie. It's a terrible display of PR.

Of all the things to take issue with, this isn’t one of them. I don’t see Desantis winning the nomination, but it has nothing to do with his choice of shoe and the rationale behind it.
