I know this, that if Zion were to tear his ACL in a game tonight, it would not be because of a plane delay. Which seems to be the general consensus of why you don't play him in this back to back. Because he does not need the rest, 4 games into the season, he doesn't, that can't be argued. If he were to tear it, it would be from some other reason, someone fell on him, lands the wrong way, etc.

I would have to pull it up but I think there’s data showing the rise of injuries in back to back play and rise of injury issues when traveling on same day. Again I could be wrong so dont quote me on this. Recovery of your body, traveling, all that has a lot to do with your body being more susceptible to injury.
