I’m in Bryson and I’m still seeing the same thing. It’s the same every year. Not sure where you’ve read that they should have spilt up two months ago, but that typically doesn’t happen until late November.

I got this photo just last night.





And this one 20 minutes ago or so:




And this one most recently a few minutes ago



What you’re seeing is normal for this area, imo.

Thanks for the info. I’ve only been hunting in that area for a few years now, and am just now getting my cam locations dialed in to keep better track of the bucks’ patterns.

As far as thinking they should’ve been split up by now, that’s been my experience while hunting further east in the state, and based off of what I’ve read in things like Field and Stream or some other media. “Once the velvet comes off, the bucks start to split off”, and that kind of thing. I suppose that may be true in some places, but not up there.
