With our poor record getting stops on third and fourth downs, will Bama gamble like Ole Miss or will they stick to the traditional punting situation. I expect at least one trick play from them on fourth down since we never seem to be ready for it.

They’ll probably not need to gamble very much. Not sure why we are even gonna show up. No need to try. It’s over. The whole world is coming to an end. Fire everyone

If it’s 4th and 1, unfortunately they’ll probably be able to easily go get a yard on us

I don’t see them getting to 4th down very often

I would expect them to go for a fair amount of 4th downs if they get into our territory.

Their defense is too good to gamble on 4th down situations

Not really a gamble. All they have to do is run a slant. We can’t cover it. Especially with inexperienced cb’s.

Matt House says not to worry as they will convert almost every third and long while we sit in a soft zone and let them do whatever they want with no pressure at all.

I'd love to just get them to 4th down first

Saban is very conservative. So I doubt it

I'll be happy if we can just force them into that decision.

Depends on what side of the 50 yard line they are on. If they are in our side, yes. If they are on there own, no. They do not want to give LSU the short side of the field.
