A little late in starting this edition's thread. All the matches are carried live on ESPN+.
The Top 4 teams at the end of the group stage make it to the semi finals.

(1) India vs. (4) New Zealand
Thu, 16 Nov '23
2nd Semi-Final (D/N)
(2) South Africa vs. (3) Australia

Points table at the half way stage. England are the defending champs (lol):
Finals: India vs Australia
Heartbreak for Kohli and India as Australia wins the Cricket World Cup for 6th time --> India lost the final to Australia after going undefeated throughout the tournament.

India, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia are the top 4 teams after 2/3rds of the way through the tournament and are most likely to end up in the semi-finals.

India, South Africa, Austrlia and New Zealand the semifinalists after the league stage.
India went undefeated in the league stage beating every team handily and hardly broke a sweat.
India plays New Zealand on Nov 15th in the first semi final. Australia and South Africa play in the second semi final a day later.

India will start as the favorites playing at home. They have a very strong batting lineup and a ferocious bowling attack that has blown every team away in this world cup. However Australia play great in big games. So it should be an entertaining match.
India are coming into the game with a 10-game winning streak and Australia with a 8-game streak. Australia lost their first two games and have won every match since then.
If India wins the match, it will be their 3rd world cup. If Australia win, it will be their 6th.
