true that. as i've gotten into my 40s, i've really become disenchanted with the party of my parents. i've become infinitely more disgusted with the other party, don't get me wrong, but i see both of them as different sides of the same coin nowadays.

Of course. The human brain has an incredible ability to warp reality when it comes to our flaws. In biblical terms, it's an outright refusal to remove the plank in our own eyes.
