My animal brain feels better when I'm in a larger plane where there may be sustained turbulence. I don't do roller coaster rides worse than the Seven Dwarves at Disney. It's not rational, I know, but I also don't want to take an Ambien or something and end up pants-less having gotten the flight diverted to Newfoundland or something.
Singapore just sent me an ad for $599 economy flights from Houston to Manchester, with travel until 20 May 2024. You have to buy the ticket by 3 NOV. It is a Fifth Freedom flight, but there may be something from the Northeast that's similarly cheap. From IAH it's an A350, which continues on to Singapore.
