I went back over the abysmal 7-28 home stretch and compiled our RISP numbers....

Total: 49/242 (.203)

Wins: 20/59 (.339)
Losses 29/183 (.159)

I want to believe that the difference in this series home/away is that we have faced their best pitchers at home in all 3 games (Montgomery/Eovaldi/Eovaldi again) and the arse-end of their rotation in Arlington. We lit up rusty Scherzer and Heaney...then Montgomery pitched well again in game 5 before we got to the pen.

There is no reason not to score some runs tonight. Scherzer is a major question mark...and even if he does pitch well, he probably cant go too far and they will have to go to the pen for someone like Dunning or Heaney.

They can't just keep trotting Sborz/Leclerq/Chapman out there and expect to win. At some point, the Scotch tape and bubble gum that are holding their bullpen together has to break. Tonight has to be that night.

If the Astros score 2 runs tonight, they 100% deserve whatever happens to them.
