Friend,
My borders for Old Metairie are the 17th St Canal to the east, (edited to read Veterans) to the North, and Airline to the south. The western border gets tricky. Severn and then Metairie Rd as it snakes its way to Bonnabel and then Bonnabel north of Metairie Rd all the way to Veterans is my tentative western border. What is the section between Bonnabel and Severn north of Metairie Rd called? That is sort of a grey area to me.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

I think the western border has to be Causeway. I understand that this will be controversial, but I'd just ask everyone to consider the high stakes here and the value of agreeing on obvious, enforceable boundaries.

You’re a fricking idiot. So by your borders, lakeside mall is old Metairie? Old Metairie north border is I-10. Go back to bullshitting your New Orleans “knowledge”.

Whutt? Severn gets no where near Bonnabel; they are parallel to each other.
If you ask a real estate agent that’s selling a house in Metairie, all of it is old Metairie.
