Bama game. Looking for a tailgate.

Guys, my wife and I are driving down to Bama from PA for the game. Staying in Birmingham for a couple days of golf, and driving to Tuscaloosa for game day.
Never been to Gumpville before, and don’t know anybody there to tailgate with. Looking for some Tiger fans that have been there before for maybe parking tips, and a tailgate to stop by and have a beer with some Tiger fans.
Gumps are still in the hunt for a Natty, and we can still win the SEC, so thinking this environment should be electric.

Related question: if I want to drive over from Birmingham to enjoy some tailgates, what's my best parking/entry strategy? I'm thinking of jumping on Hargrove/Hackberry down to park somewhere on 15th. Any barriers?

I gave a buddy that sets up in front of Russell hall, been doing it there for like 25 years, there is a huge LSU group he is friends with that sets up beside him, they have been doing that for many years also.

We will be there in front of Russell hall tailgating with BUTT tailgating. Awesome group of Bama fans.

On the north end of BDS is University Blvd and the 3-4 blocks west of BDS is filled with Bars and Restaurents catering to your Gameday cash. Going east of BDS on Univ Blvd you will see a big tailgating area with wall to wall tailgates but they are all Bama.
As for parking... it sucks. I cant help you much there.

This will be our 18th year with them. Started in 2005. Randy is a legend.
