Cannot wrap my mind around how a massive group of people just can’t see what is happening to them. It’s right in front of their face and they just keep following their handlers. Incredible.

This was answered to a degree quite some time ago, but will never be seen or verified by either national leftist media or even by media on the right.
In a local interview back in Jan.. of 22 on 990am, Peniel E. Joseph who wrote the book The Sword and the Shield comparing MLK and Malcolm X, in which he quoted Malcolm as saying "black people do not function well within the Western cultural experience."
This is easily challenged if one solely lives on the Internet, since the quote is not in the official list of Malcolm X quotes.
So if it grates on you, take it up with Mr. Joseph, or better yet, get his book.
But could anyone in there wildest imagination believe that they would ever hear that particular quote from Levin, the two who took over Limbaugh's spot - or even Limbaugh himself - Berry, or any of the others on the so-called Right.
So what the hell have we slumped to - believing we can beg, cajole, buy, or otherwise convince a large group of people to participate in ways that according to one of their own icons are antithetical to their collective psyche.
The polly-anna is strong here.

It’s you, also, who can’t see what’s in front of your face. Black people in Africa are in similar plights, and they are not being manipulated by Democrats.
The Democrats are not intentionally “turning out George Floyds”. The policies that are failing so miserably were put in place, not by scheming vote harvesters, but by white knights who risked death and jail in the civil rights movement; by the academics who theorized it would lift black people to the middle class; and by guilt-ridden white people who wanted to do something, ANYTHING, to assuage that guilt.
Yes, there were scheming vote harvesters, like Lyndon Johnson, who turned it to their advantage, but the push came from good intentions.
