Big deal. Who gives a shite what they want? On that day warriors are going to take the field for both teams, and they will fight desperately for the win. During that game, no player will give a shite who won in 2022 or 1932. On any given play, revenge for the previous play will be a much bigger motivation.

That game will be won by men on the field, not by old women reading tea leaves.

Now, in the pre, and post, game interviews, the players might say it matters, but that is just saying stuff to make the interviewers happy.
