Where did I say that? In fact, I said the opposite. If you go back, you'd see I initially commented on the posts that wanted to somehow relate these two incidents.

On paper, it's obstruction and it should be dealt with according to law. Never once did I refute that.

The hypocrisy is equating this event to Jan 6th. They are nowhere near the same. In which, the court of public opinion (save the DURR HURR ITS DEEP STATE MEDIA comment) is drastically different and will trickle down differently.

The hypocrisy is the mental goalposts a lot of people like to move so it fits their narrative

The vast majority of charges for Jan 6 is obstruction of an official proceeding.

you mean like trying to rationalize an insurrection by terrorist sympathizers because we arent sure yet if the protestors "called for someone's head" or if a legislator had to leave the building? Yeah, that would be fricking stupid.
