Dude, there's this little thing called "intent" that a court and/or jury takes in to account.
What happened today was violent intent. Yes, they trespassed. But they gathered in one area, "peacefully", and demonstrated.
Jan 6th was a free for all and when the levies broke, idiots were climbing, running around and looting the capitol.
HOW ARE THOSE 2 THE SAME THING?

Don’t try to play attorney.
It’s called mens rea. And the mens rea required for obstructing an official proceeding is simply intending to disrupt an official proceeding. No requirement or discussion of violence at all. You trying to claim what happened today wasn’t obstructing n official proceeding is pathetic. You’re a hypocrite and/or ignorant.
