Charge for carry-ons and make checked bags free. That would reduce boarding and deboarding.

If a standard suitcase-sized check bag was included in the ticket price, and carry-ons had to fit below the seat in front of you, a lot of bullshite would be avoided. Then board back to front. You wouldn’t even have to worry about this window vs aisle BS. Having the majority of luggage overhead was a dumb move. Charge for that space.

I rarely check bags. If I'm somewhere for less than a week, I can get it all into a normal-sized carry-on (frick waiting for luggage).

That said, I would pay for that if it caused enough others to not bring carry-ons.
