re: LHSAA week 8… and enrollment numbers

Nobody will really care about this point but just to vent a bit.

I love my alma mater and would hate to see it go away but the East St Mary Parish schools really should consolidate. Using numbers from Patterson Berwick and Morgan City that would put them at about a hair under 1600 (Probably closer to 1500 or so students factoring in families that would opt for central catholic/hanson over the combined school). It would open up so many more opportunities for kids in the parish with the larger school and probably make the area as a whole more competitive in sports given the recent dip we've taken. Plus the only town thats really different "culturally" is Berwick and a lot of those kids still hung out and got along with students from the other schools.
