Holy smokes man. I know you have streaming services as well, if a movie you want to watch is streaming and you have it on DVD, which do you watch? My post wasn't to knock anyone collecting DVDs btw. My point has always been at this point with so much streaming options, I think it's a better move to spend $15 on Netflix and have 1,000s of shows and movies instead of $15 on one new DVD, or 3, or however many DVDs $15 will get you.
