I don't know about Jackson but Daniels has progressed in one season as much as ANY LSU QB in one season as I've ever seen. He now sees the recievers on the deep balls and delivers. He's a very impressive young man.

JD is a hard worker too. I’ve heard a lot of sound bites about him being in the film room as early as 5:30am the next day after a game. He is earning his contract he’s about to get. He wasn’t even in the top 10 of the QB prospects on lists I’ve seen coming into the season and he could sneak into a first round pick at this rate.

Actually I think just this weekend ESPN showed a graphic that had him 9th on some ESPN “experts” list of QB prospects! That’s absurd. I’d want him on my team.

Was a very wise decision for him to stay another year and up his stock. Kelly can use this as an example of success in his pitch to kids considering leaving early.

Lamar did the same thing but in the NFL. Daniels is a much better passer than Jackson was in college. It took Jackson a couple years in the NFL before he learned to pass. Also NFL OCs didn't really know what to do with someone like LJ back then. Daniels shouldn't have that problem
