Why did Colorado go first both overtime’s? Are the rules different now?

In the first OT, Colorado chose to go first. In the second OT, Stanford chose to go second.

It makes no sense, but it worked out for Deion last time.

Stanford should have gone for the win after scoring in OT. They will have to go for 2 in OT 2. Why give Colorado another shot?

I’m confused too. Used to be they rotated.
