Those look great, can you tell us how much something like that ran you?
Just so you're understanding what was included in the scope - the bottom cabinets for both were already in place. The new built ins included the upper bookshelves from cabinet top to ceiling as well as replacing crown molding.
Painting was done separately.
The cost for both sets of shelves was $4400. I received quotes up to $8500. Cook Construction was least expensive and they came out to get measurements before giving a quote as well as provided a 3d rendering to ensure we were on the same page. Some quotes were based solely on pictures and some did not include renderings.

Nice - Glad my recommendation worked out.

At first I thought $4,400 for complete sets with doors, drawers, hardware, painting, etc. wasn't too terrible. Then I kept reading.
frickity frick that's wild. Not implying you overpaid or anything, because apparently that's the going rate. It's just wild!!! $4,400 for a couple of bookshelves and some crown moulding?

Work looks great!
As a hobby woodworker it always amazes me how much these jobs cost! I need to start invoicing the wife...
