Wife and I are going in February. Plan going on days close to the new moon. Go as close to the spring equinox as you can. As one person stated, there is a lot to do during the winter but it will be cold. We have the Chena Hot Springs, snowmobiling, dogsledding. Castner ice caves and Reindeer ranch as our activities during the day. I would love if you hit me up after you get back to provide some information about your trip. Have a great trip.
