We had a decent conversation on this in the main thread yesterday. It isn't as simple saying that Iran getting this money led directly to this attack, it isn't even realistic. It is also a simplistic view to say that this money, or rather the negotiationa surrounding it, had no impact on the planning and carrying out of this attack.
That money, in some form or fashion, will 100% have an impact on this war going forward.

It really is though. They've known this money was going to be freed up for months now. They didn't wait till they had it in hand to use it. Letting them know that they were going to get these "funds for food" was letting them know they could use other funds they would have needed for that purpose.
That's what fungibility is.
