4 years ago I switched insurance on a vehicle. New agency didn't report it until a month later.
This was in 2019. I get a letter the other day from the OMV saying I have a flag of $800 on my license because I went one month without insurance 4 years ago. I just have to prove I had insurance for that span.
That's when I switched from progressive to Root. Root sucked so I only stuck with them a year before going to Geico for last few years.
I don't have my insurance car from that long ago. I hate the OMV. I'm going to have to pay the flag off to renew my license next year.
