I've grown up with my dad telling me all about the 80's and 90's, and as I wasn't there I just have to take his word. Without any nostalgia, was it really that great?
The 70's were revolutionary and pretty wild. The 80's were good but the economy sucked for first half but we still had a lot of fun. The 90's saw me get married and have kids... I dont know what the 90's were.

The 80's were the absolute best. Get off the bus and grab your bike and just hang out until the street light came on. Your arse hurried home as soon as that light popped on. The Lakers vs Celtics were huge just about every year. A teenage boy probably didn't spend more than five minutes in his room, unless he was asleep at night. We did have to worry about those pesky Russians, but that's about the only care we had.
