I’ll bite on the fact that we didn’t anticipate talent not being able to compensate for a lack of a coach even though that’s almost soft pitch for a coach on a $95 mil contract who’s priority should be making sure his players are well coached.

People call this man a CEO and praise his ability to run things like a corporation yet ignore the fact that he failed to anticipate this when it was right in front of his face the entire time.

Your average fan with little to no knowledge of the game saw the d line as an issue against GRAMBLING. How does it take game 5, a loss for this to happen. There’s no way that anyone who objectively watches film did not know this was going to be problem in the future. We got by state because they are atrocious and that probably gave a lot of false confidence, not false confidence we should expect a $95 mil coach should fall prey to.

CBK has never been a defensive coach, and i hope he has learned that hard lesson. Offense may have made him successful at ND, it will not in the SEC.
