I assume you mean CoD:WaW.
I made it to level 7 by myself. CaptainsWafer and I made it to level 11. I saw someone else mention recently on here they made it to 13.
CW and I have our windows that we watch, and we rotate constantly checking them (obviously). Once we get to about level 6, we open the HELP door, then he gets a weapon from the box, and watches the main room, and I get the shotgun and watch the smaller room.
In the past we've just moved the couch in the main room when we get overrun, and both go upstairs to get the trench shotgun. Then he stays downstairs and I stay upstairs until we get overrun again, then we corner ourselves with shotguns until we die.
It's pretty addictive.

My roommate and I got to 13. Online I've gotten as far as 14.
Early on you want headshots. In the first 2 levels maybe let them break in so you can get points for rebuilding. Around level 5ish you will need to open the help door. Go to the mystery box as many times as you need to in order to get either of the big machine guns or the ray gun.
Once all players have one or the other you are ready to go upstairs. Take the stairs in the help room and you will want to tuck back in the room with the other stairwell. DO NOT REMOVE THE COUCH IN THIS AREA. Once tucked in, you can sit back and mow em down.
Also, while in this area you can launch grenades constantly b/c you will be backed into the spot where you can buy grenades.

used this w a party of four and got to level 23, most helpful thing is obviously the ray gun, ray gun stands guard at stairs, everyone else covers up, i noticed alot of people who have got in upwards of lvl 50, some even over 100, how the frick did they do this, b/c at 20 i thought the world was over

We got to level 30 the other day. My gamertag is Geebs19 i have 2 other guys that run with me and we have a great stradegy.
With 4 people we start out in the room you spawn in. Buy the gun off the wall and start mowing them down. At level 7-10 we open the help room and start trying to get the Ray gun. 2 people stay in the main room while 2 are in the help room. At level 16-18 or if 3/4 people have the ray gun we head upstairs and baricade ourselves in at a back corner and just mow them down as they come in the door. We have one person standing at the window upstairs and traps a zombie at the window so that none others can get in.

I played with Skippy and a buddy of his one day and we did pretty well doing this:
We start off in the first room and man the windows until about Level 6. We move into the Help Room and begin to strategize. Once in the Help Room, we fight off the last wave of zombies of Level 9 or 10, but one of us mans a window nearing the end of the wave and tries to keep a zombie outside by holding "X" (repairing the barricades) as the zombie tears it down, creating a stalemate between the zombie and the window-watcher.
We do this because the game doesn't start the next level until the last zombie of the previous level is killed. In the meantime, the other three teammates are raiding the Random Box for Ray Guns, Trench Guns and Flamethrowers and repairing barricades from other rooms.
At about Level 11 or 12, we move the couch in the Help Room that leads upstairs. We all dig in upstairs by the couch that leads downstairs into the first room, but we don't move it. This effectively creates a funnel for all the zombies to come upstairs through the Help Room and three guys man that door/stairwell and one other mans the window by the couch.
We do this (hold the last zombie to re-equip and repair barracades) until we get overrun. I think the best we did (in limited time) was Level 14 or 15.
ETA: Or, a modified version of Geebs' strategy.

It gets very time consuming. We would have made it past level 30 except we ran out of ammo and there were about 200 zombies rushing us.

There is a glitch in the zombie mode where you can't die. Apparently they have removed it from XBox but PS3 still has it.
Basically what happens is one guy lays on the ground in the corner and then another guy stands on top of him and jumps up and down. Then for some reason the guy on the ground gets inside the other guy (there was no way i could phrase that without sounding gay or sexual). Guy on the ground stands up inside the other guy and they just stand there and kill everything. Zombies can't hurt them.

So does everyone that wants to play the zombie game have to have beaten the game?
or
Can I beat the game and have one of my other friends who haven't beaten the game play with me?

No I'm probably about midway through. How many levels are there? I'm like on level 4.

I'm pretty suer as long as one person has beaten it (i.e. has the zombie level unlocked), anyone else can play, regardless of if they have unlocked it or not.

And for God's sake...it's "strategy."

As long as someone in your party has beaten the game then you can play it.

Glitch still works... highest round 47 w 2 people... we just quit cuz it takes so damn long. I think we played for almost 4 and half hours. Went ahead and changed my gamertag just in case... so new one is CS LSU Played regular with 4 people... all had ray guns, one had flame thrower and we had a pretty good set up and made it to 27.

This works like a charm. Also, if the zombie happens to make it in the room, then have one person just walk in circles with the zombie following while the other(s) rebuild windows and raid the mystery box.
