Because I live in reality. You can think they have no shot at running the table, and you might be right. But either way, they are currently in a better spot that LSU. You have no clue who their quarterback will be next year, so you're just guessing.
And yeah, I am a little bitter about BK at the moment because we just gave up a record number of yards. Which also goes into why ND is in a better spot than LSU at the moment.

Short of Caleb Williams or Drake Maye type talents, it doesn't matter who they have next year. It won't be enough to elevate the rest of roster to a legit championship contender. Making the playoffs and winning a natty are two very different things.

As am I, but when you take a step back and look at the big picture rather than one game, I still believe we're in a better spot to win it all going forward.
