Every time BK gets asked about a younger player he’s always down playing them as in “they’re still learning the position” or “he’s not there yet”….. MAN JUST PLAY THE DAMN PLAYERS!!! Start Weeks play Womack play Wiggins play Jackson consistently. This is the SEC plus this is Louisiana you’re dealing with a different breed of player here. Your just going to have to give and take a bit, bite the bullet sometimes idk I’m frustrated

I hear you brother.
Very very frustrating.
When there is an OBVIOUS talent discrepancy, and the guys you are playing are flat out losing the game for you, why would you not make a change personnel wise?
The only thing I can think is that he uses a “good ole boy” system. Where he plays “his guys” or his favorites.
I hope I am wrong. I really do. But that’s the only explanation I can think of.

Agree with all of you. It's old school and his failure to adapt to change...Hopefully Scott has a Disclaimer if this vision continues...Football is not engineering or medicine, really...

Absolutely!!!
These are LOUISIANA players.
They are perfect at birth.
Young players from other places might do more harm than good by not knowing the plays, reads, positioning, but not LOUISIANA players.
Not only that but this is SEC and SEC coaches and players would never take advantage of the inexperience of LOUISIANA players.

Perkins has a rep for being lazy when it comes to learning the defense but he made a bit of an impact last year

I understand your sarcasm but like it out not we’re DIFFERENT built DIFFERENT raised DIFFERENT always will be and proud to be DIFFERENT. You get your respect for the medals you wear around here and for what I see he came thinking we need him Nawl he needs us, so adapt to our culture ie: let them listen to music, let them police each other even if it does end in a brawl. We bring our own energy from birth so let us be…. That’s what Coach O did…

I finally made time to go back and watch the Ole Miss game. One of the biggest problem that stood out to me was #5 Laterrance Welch. He was a huge liability out there.

Yet people were calling for him to be a starter

You guys are missing something here. There have been more impact freshmen playing on offense than defense for two years. You had Campbell, Jones and Taylor last year and Jackson, Heard and Markaway have all gotten run this year on a pretty experienced offense.

This looks more like a Matt House they have know my overcomplicated scheme 100% to play issue than a BL issue. We all know he’s less hands on with the defense than the offense.
