Rugby style tackling is being taught as the primary tackling style, should be at least, it's just safer. Leaving your feet is appropriate if you are behind the ball carrier, diving to save a touchdown, or other instances, where you leave your feet, wrap and roll.

Yes. You're correct on that. And I guess they do lots of diving when out of position and constantly chasing the play.
