He did chew him out. Miles was pissed and rightfully so. He certainly wasn't patting him on the back.

From the angle I saw he had his arm around Johnson and talking to him in a father like fashion. You know kinda like "son you really disapointed me and your mom, what were you thinking" kinda talk.

Wasn't what I expected to see after the guy just negated 4th & 29.

The alleged hug = Miles putting his arm around Tremain when he was walking off the field and then he proceeded to rip him a new one. Of course, most don't want to admit that Miles does show emotion with his players. They see only what they want to see. Like I posted yesterday, I think they only think coaches chew arse when they're shouting obscenities, throwing down headsets/visors or grabbing the facemask of the player in question.

It amazes me that because someone posted information in a thread, then all of a sudden it becomes fact. I've seen it for 2 days now and it isn't ending anytime soon.

Sure everyone is upset as the season didn't end anywhere near what we expected. But this crap is unbelieveable.

I especially love the we deserve an apology afther the $ we spend and paying higher prices for tickets when LSU's charges aren't anywhere near other SEC schools. I know grads of UGA that were submitting donations to the athletic dept their first semester in order to start their priority points. In their 30's now, no where close to getting tickets.

I will support the tigers no matter what, no matter how bad.

Say what you will, but a "chewing out" is not usually accompanied by a walking hug, and you can't deny the hug part.

Maybe it's Miles's special version of "chewing out" that has this team so disciplined, right?

Maybe it was the anger of an idiot upper classman blowing 4th & 29.

He can't chew out a Saban recruit on national TV. After all that's the players he won a national chapionship with according to most of the world. How would that look? But from what I saw on TV it sure looked like he was chewing his arse up close and personal.

My God, STFU. Give it up already dude. He is not gonna act like the former coach no matter how much you want him to!

Shut up Rex. You're just making shite up to try to be controversial as usual. It was clear on the TV that Miles had his arm around Johnson to 'corral' him and try to hold him still while he was in his face chewing his arse out.

Some of you guys really need to stop watching LSU football because you clearly don't watch the games correctly and do not have the ability to properly evaluate what transpires on the field.

From where we were sitting in the stadium it didn't appear he was chewing him out. It looked like the "talkin' to". I am glad he was chewing him out. We were chewing him out in the stands.

1- I'm sure he really gives a frick
2- Do you also boo JL?
Because there is no excuse for yelling at our players or coaches during a game...especially an away game

Rex...go start a parade. You see and hear whatever fits your agenda. Miles put the bear hug on him and then proceeded to lite him up..face to face, not like the cyberpunks who talk shite from the obscurity of their desktops. Give it a rest.

Ok, if Miles does show emotion, WHY can't his team show more emotion??? I always look at it as follow the leader. I don't always see his emotions being displayed. His team doesn't see it often either. Just my 2 cents.
