It is funny reading about all the demands of the LSU faithful with regards to coaching, playing, recruiting, etc. etc.
The attitude is that LSU is a historical program and as fans we deserve 10 win seasons every year with sniffs of the national championship. Because, come on...this is LSU. Sure the last 9 years have been above average but LSU has NEVER challenged for the SEC or national title repeatedly year in year out. Why all of a sudden is everyone now demanding it. Personally, I think the majority of the gripes are from 20-30 year olds who have only seen success. Look over the overall records and final rankings from the 60s-90s, LSU has always been about average with a few respectable years. 1 top ten final ranking every 10 years does not make us as relevant historically as everyone thinks it does. Why are we acting now like LSU 'never looses more than 3 games a year' and there should be wholesale changes??

I've been watching LSU since the mid-70's and have seen more rough years than good years but once you see what a program LSU can be, mediocrity is unacceptable anymore. I know you will have occasional down years but I don't think there is any reason why LSU cannot challenge for SEC champioships on a regular basis.

So you're saying we should just accept mediocrity?

If you don't demand excellence you'll never achieve it

You are the type fan that Saban tried to educate. Apparently you are still willing to settle for mediocrity.

You are correct but LSU is a Top 10 all time winning program if you go check out College Football Data Warehouse with 3 national championships and 10 SEC championships. There is no reason why we should not win 9 to 10 games MOST years compete for SEC championships every couple of years and national championships every so often. We pay 3.3 million a year for a coach to do that. Thats why people are aggravated. I dont pay my season ticket prices AS THEY ARE NOW to have seasons of poorly coached football. 7-5 I can accept (with the team improving). 7-5 and with the performances we saw this year I have a right to complain and so does everybody else.

Go back to your gump boards. Mediocrity is unacceptable and will be corrected...because this is LSU.

Maybe some.

But if you think older, been through it fans are not shaking in your boots you are dead wrong.

We've been through that and do not want to go back.

Maybe some of us don't accept mediocrity as the norm. If mediocrity is acceptable to you, best of luck to you in your career.

You people are such freakin tards to be so critical of "TRUE" fans such as adaters and others. How can ya'll be so critical of a team barely ranked in the top 40 paying a coach almost 4 mil a year to run the program into the ground.

I say we should get together and demand that NONE of the staff gets fired and give all around pay raises and a peach bowl bonus. Hell lets go ahead and bump Miles up to around 4.25 mil because next year he will win it all.
