I tend to agree. But if the "online shopping" focus is basically reducing the footprint and having more third party local delivery, that may be genuine.

They can presumably feed more inventory to handle that demand to existing stores. I have no clue how many people are opting to get CVS deliveries from Shipt and ubereats, but it would make more sense than the alternative.

I imagine CVS’s online pharmacy is pretty big. My last two insurance companies contracted with their online services to provide reduced cost prescriptions when you ordered a 60-90 day+ supply.

Just wait, in 2-3 years we’ll have “pharmacy deserts” where Medicare/Medicaid folks are being underserved. And then we’ll inevitably need some government programs to remedy the situation.
