CAC scan
I am pretty sure you can get a Coronary Artery Calcium Scan (CAC) for around $99 if you pay cash at the hospital. I did in Florida. It shows the amount of blockage in your arteries. I had 0% blockage. Provides peace of mind if you have artery blockage in your family.

It shows the calcified plaque buildup on the wall of your arteries which can lead to blockage and hardening of the arteries. It may not be a blockage of any significance and you can have noncalcified plaques that will not show up in a CAC. However, it is supposed to be the single best diagnostic test to identify if chest pains are potentially life-threatening. My calcium score was zero earlier this year.

I've been meaning to get one of these for the past six months. A close friend of mine from college passed back in March from a heart attack. Scared me to death. My physician recommended I get the calcium scan. This is even more incentive to get off my arse and get it done.............................................just like that colonoscopy a few years ago.
