I am going to St. Louis for a work trip soon and will have a bout 4 hours to kill between the end of the conference and going to the airport.
Are there any cool museums in the downtown area that I could kill some time at?

City Museum is a ton of fun and very cool. It's kind of geared toward families/kids, but it's pretty rad and fun regardless. It's a really unique space.
The St. Louis Art Museum is also worthwhile.

Cool museums would mean city museums because I think museums are boring, and City museums is unlike anything else. That said, Art museum and History museum, both are located in Forest Park. Forest park is close to Downtown, and an easy and quick route to the airport.
If it was me, anheuser busch tour or Union station would be a better way to kill some time. Union Station - once the busiest train station in the would has a really cool bar area, along with a few restaurants, and a large aquarium(aluthough $40).

There is the Arch.
If you are in time for a meal, try the OG italian places like Charlie Gitto's on "the hill".

Downtown is boring. stl has every thing one needs, it’s just spread out.

Pick a restaurant in The Hill and enjoy some of the best Italian food you’ve ever had.

The museum that is part of the arch is really cool.

I love downtown StL on game weekends, but it is just blah any other time. There is the Arch and the old courthouse and the cathedral that joins the Arch grounds.
I follow downtownstlouis & stlbucketlist on insta that usually keep up with happenings around town.

Has anyone been to St. Charles Historic district?
I was thinking of ubering over there and starting at the Louis and Clarke Boat House thing and then just working my way up main street for a few hours before heading to the airport.
