Maybe it is just in my section (though I can't imagine that is the case), but the group working the concession stand appeared to be a bunch of HS kids apparently working to raise funds for their basketball teams. I ordered a sausage po-boy (which at least was hot) and a coke. I was also asked if I wanted to provide a tip for the basketball team. They were a bit unorganized, but generally got me in and out quick. Of course, I time my trips during a point in the game where I don't think the lines will be long (usually mid 2nd quarter while there is action taking place...never during a TO, halftime, or quarter break.

Frankly, I don't go to LSU games with the expectation of eating or drinking. I either eat before or just wait until after. The cost alone is enough of a deterrent. So even if the food were better I doubt I'd change my habits. But I do think it would be more reasonable to have individual vendors rather than the HS beta club or cub scouts. I'm sure there would be a market for such since those vendors would have a captive customer base who would be willing to pay a 50%, 100%, 200% mark up for the products.
