These guys were in their early 20s, vaping and f-bombing every play. The worst part was they were harassing some Hog fans in the rows below by throwing peanut shells at them.
That’s young kids not knowing the proud tradition that got us to where we are now. Save that nonsense for the walk to and from the stadium. That’s where it belongs. A few piss balloons is plenty and really no need for f bombs.

If they didn’t have a ticket for that seat just tell them to calm down or you’re going to grab the usher

Yeah if they didn't have tickets for those seats I'm pretty sure the marshalls would have removed them.

It's also one of the many reasons watching from home is rapidly surpassing attending a game.
I’m not gonna get into a fight w/ some drunk jackass in my living room.
As I get older, things like that have become a bit more important to me.

Agreed. Found myself in a similar situation in Texas 2019 as an LSU fan. Bunch of young, recent grads around that were horribly obnoxious with similar things. One told me if he gets excited and elbows the person next to him in the face (who was a female LSU fan) he can’t be held responsible. That led to a few words being exchanged on account of the female being assaulted. It proceeded the rest of the night until we threw the last TD to Jefferson. He put a middle finger in my face and realized really quickly how bad an idea it was and began apologizing. It’s just unnecessary. Fans should be able to go enjoy a game with some friendly banter, acknowledgement of good and bad plays, and not the riff-raff.
Sadly, this type ridiculousness caused a man’s death in Boston at a Patriots game recently.

That’s peanuts compared to when an Arky fan was trying to shite in peace and the porta pot got tipped over on the door.
Now that was shitty fans

Shitty fans are not new. Back in the late 70's, LSU / O. Miss post game, LSU won in a blow out, 6 LSU fans were beating the shite out of one O.Miss fan. BRPD showed up, pulled the LSU fans off, & charged the O.Miss fan with disturbing the peace. Quit traveling to bama, Gators, O.Miss, etc because of all the drunk fans giving me & family problems.

The majority of the population in Louisiana is complete trash. Represented by top in every negative national ranking. You put 100k of them in a place, it is what it is. Reason I stay home or move to Texas.

I went to the ‘07 Florida game by myself. Tickets were expensive and none of my tailgating group wanted to pay. I had driven in from Austin, and wasn’t about to drive all that way and not go to the game. So I found a ticket for $150 ands went and sat down.
Easy to make friends at an LSU game. 1st huge play by LSU I turned high-fived everybody to my right and left, then turned around and high-fived the 2 people directly above me. Then I got a tap on my shoulder. Turned around and dude pointed at his shirt. Had “Gators” written across it. His wife had the same. I laughs and apologized. He said, “shite, no, man. Don’t apologize. We’re the only Florida fans around. We’ll high five you for every big LSU play if you high-five us for every big Florida play.”
So the of us high-fived for every big play of the whole game. And there were several. Besides it just being one of the best games ever, it was a great experience for not just me, but then too. Despite the heartbreaking loss, they had a great time and were in good spirits. We talked all the way down the ramp. I’m sure that wound up not being their last trip to Tiger Stadium, and I’m sure they’ve told that story from their perspective.
THAT is how we should treat opposing fans inside the stadium. Friendly shite-talking outside and some good natured “Tiger Bait”-ing encouraged. But have some couth once inside. I’m not saying for everybody to high-five opposing fans when their team does well, but that was so much more enjoyable than the shite-talking/harassing that I may have been a part of while a drunken college student. And I was just in my mid-late 20s. Constant assholes that add unneeded tension can ruin the experience for the entire section. I want to watch the game, not keep my head on a swivel waiting for a fight to break out.

We also had some dudes trying to fight other LSU fans in our section. I’ve never heard the N word so many times in my life. Pretty crazy for some white dudes to be letting it fly in a crowded stadium in 2023

We had a mom, her HS age daughter and approx 10 y/o son sitting near us. Dad was nowhere around. Mom and daughter took selfies the whole time. The boy was like Greg the flamboyant kid from Curb Your Enthusiasm. He had a good time imitating the Golden Girl dances. NTTAWWT.

Text LSU Vaping and harassment of fans in Section ____ Row ____ to 69050.
Then you tell them security has been notified. Then they'll likely leave. Then you text problem resolved.

I’m surprised no one did anything. If I saw a fan doing that I would have said something and asked them to Tom it tf down and see what happened after that… I would not have sat and did nothing
