These teams are getting better - MUCH BETTER. I don't think it's as easy as saying "we had a bad season. We'll be better next year...blah blah blah..." Miles has a tough row to hoe next year.

If we split the difference between these two next year that would be progress. I'm convinced that if Miles makes the kinds of needed changes on staff and with the team, LSU will be back.

It will be a lighter load because the bandwagon will have a lot fewer people. Sounds like you should reserve your ticket for Ole Miss or Bama's bandwagon.

And/or how the lowly have risen. Nutt can coach.

We have to find some discipline, pride, and a sense of urgency next year. Like a pack of hungry dogs, we have to attack and kill.

Why? Because the truth hurts that they both beat LSU this year? If you want to live in delusional world, knock yourself out podnuh.

I totally agree. As long as Saban is in the same division with LSU it is going to make it even more difficult.

Alabama and Saban are our biggest problem now. He is successful taking recruits out of Louisiana as well. Much to be concerned about.

I didn't even mention Ole Miss, but that is something else altogether.

bama loses studs on the Oline and a senior qb. I want to see how good coffee&co are next year without a passing game.

Well, BAMA loses their QB. JPW isn't a Heisman QB, but he's a good, steady QB. Mauck and Flynn-like in my opinion. Doesn't make the bad mistake. They also lose two stallworths on the O-line including Caldwell who will be a top 3 draft pick.

Ole Miss loses a lot on defense. Also, remember Coach O did a great job recruting and stockpiling. His problem was he was a dummy coach. Nutt is a GREAT X's and O's coach, but a bad recruiter. I think he will be a 7-9 win coach each year at Ole Miss, but never more.

That's my two cents. I think with appropriate defensive changes, improved QB play and good deelopment from key players, particular all on defense, we will be much improved. Also, we won't have the giant bulls-eye on our back of beign the defending NC.

you're right IMO. OM's current recruiting class is pathetic. they're ranked in the 50's, don't have a single 4 star player, and the highest player they have from the mississippi state rankings is #17

Ya'll make it sound as if we have a piece of shite team with no talent. If CLM makes the right call and cleans house on the defensive side of the ball we could be a hell of alot better over night.

I am not worried about anyone we have the players to make a very special run the next 3 to 5 yrs. HAVE FAITH!

if we don't have the players, there's no way we will out coach them

With the 85 limit every school is going to get talent. If you go by recruiting rankings from the last 4 years Ole Miss should not have been on the field with us or Auburn. Nutt will get enough talented players to keep Ole Miss competitive. I think we better enjoy the 6 game winning streak we had over them. I don't think we will see that again for a while. I just don't get all the star rankings. They miss on alot of players.

If we had a defense we play OM alot tougher. They are not that many points better than us. Our scheme on defense hasn't worked against Nutt for the past 2 years. Change the sorry scheme, and you beat them. And not to mention he has stud players right now that are about to leave.

Michael Oher - probably the best OL in the nation, Peria Jerry - 1st rounder and his brother on OL. And Greg Hardy will leave among others. Coach O left them alot of talent.
