Is her coach not doing anything to help? He should have SOME contacts. If she's shooting in the low 70's regularly, smaller schools would 100% take her.
That's what I was shooting in high school and all the HBCCU's offered me scholarships
On career day Southern and Grambling told me on the spot that I would easily get a scholarship there.
It's unfortunate she would have to do that but she could probably walk on most anywhere and potentially earn a scholarship.
I have a friend who's roommate in college right now was valedictorian at her high school and she didn't get a scholarship anywhere. That's hard to believe. It's like schools are cutting down on scholarships in general.

We’re in SE Arkansas in which golf is not very popular especially with young girls. She attends a different school so I can’t answer that. But take for instance, my daughters School is roughly 5-600 students 9-12th grade, only 3 girls are on the team and 1 is home schooled. There was only 5 girls total in the district tournament.
